Three Wives Of Bluebeard - studies

Inspired by a book titled "The Fun Encyclopedia" from the 30s, which describes scary "skits" for kids to perform. This is the visual that I've been seeing for about 30 years, based on one of them. These are digitally colored ballpoint doodles. The version at lower right is now a painting. Stay tuned for the actual painting, coming here soon.

The Big Cul-De-Sac

Here's an enormous cul-de-sac outside of Kansas City. What is its purpose?














Here's an interchange not far from there that is known as the Grandview Triangle. I call it the Grandview Dodecahedron, and other things when I end up going the wrong way upon it:
