Ballpoint doodle replica painting

Here's the painting of one of the ballpoint doodles I posted a few days ago. It's about 9x12", oil on burlap.

To replicate a blue ballpoint ink, I used a combination of Prussian Blue and Ultramarine Blue, dulled down just a little bit with Cadmium Red Light. The background color is a recreation of steno pad color, using Chromium Oxide Green and white, also with the slightest touch of red to dull it down.

I painted wet into wet, which I now think was a mistake. The next one will be wet on dry.
